New Patients at Cascade Chiropractic

smiling person walking in to officeIf you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

Your First Visit

When you arrive at our office for your initial visit you will be greeted at the front desk by our team. They will be your information source and guide as you begin your chiropractic experience.

You will first need to do some online paperwork for us and we will need to get a copy of your insurance card should you have it and a copy of your photo ID. We will work to verify your insurance benefits immediately. Upon completing your paperwork you will then move into the exam.

Dr. DeBoer will take special care to identify your specific needs and goals with your care and help to define what is wrong and how chiropractic can help. Your exam may include nervous system scans and or x-ray analysis along with a thorough chiropractic and hands on evaluation. If you are suffering with extreme symptoms, care may begin immediately.

Following the examination you will be scheduled for a doctors report which will allow the doctor to evaluate the results of your tests and come up with some ideas that are specifically designed for you. Upon completion of your initial visit you will check out with the front desk. Payment including co-payments and or coinsurance for the first visit will be expected at the time of service.

On the second visit to our office you will begin your chiropractic care for certain. Dr. DeBoer will review the findings of the nervous system scans and x-rays if taken, and recommend a course of care for you to get started with.

The length and intensity of treatment will be determined by your goals and priorities. Most patients will start with chiropractic adjustments and some passive therapies such as Intersegmental traction (roller table) to help bring the severity of the symptoms down. Upon completion of the visit for that day you will check out at the front desk and schedule your next appointment. Once again payment will be expected for services that day including co-pays and or coinsurance.

Once you have completed your initial exam and your doctors report, you will be working into the schedule of your agreed upon plan. Typical office visits can be tailored to your schedule and may last anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes depending on the phase you are in and what needs to be done at that time.

Once again as you arrive at the office you will come in and sign in at the front desk. Dr. DeBoer will typically see you shortly after arrival and begin your adjustment for the day and finish with any additional care that will help for the day. Once you are finished, you will check out with the front desk.

We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.
